Camden secondary schools hold open days and evenings during September and October. We urge you to attend these to see the schools for yourself before applying. View or download a poster with all the upcoming dates for autumn term 2023 below:

Camden Moving On to Secondary School Event- Francis Crick Institute, 21st September 2023

Meet the Parents, a local social enterprise, will also host informal discussion forums from this September for primary parents to find out more about their nearest secondary schools. 

Applications for September 2024 places open this September and the closing date to apply for these year seven places is 31 October 2023.

General Secondary Transfer Information:

The council co-ordinates the transfer from primary to secondary school for admission to all Camden state secondary schools.

You can apply online from 1st September 2023 until 31st October 2023.

All Camden secondary schools organise open days and evenings in September and October and we recommend you attend these before applying. Camden Council publishes a list of these open days on their website traditionally in August each year - we will print this list off and pop it in book bags at the start of the new school year in September 2023.

If you are considering applying for private education please visit the individual school's website or contact their school offices for further information on the application process and details of their open days/mornings, as each school may have their own process.

Message from Camden School Admissions team:

All Secondary transfer applications must be completed online at www.eadmissions.org.uk after 1st September. Prior to completing an application all parents must register for an eadmissions account (if they don't already have one).

The Camden School Admissions team is offering to assist the parents of Year 5 children who live in Camden to register for an eadmissions account over the summer holidays.
